Rudong county in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has focused on speeding up the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the growth of emerging industries this year. From January to July, the industrial taxable sales of the county exceeded 106.8 billion yuan ($16.52 billion), up 18.25 percent over the same period last year.
In recent years, the county has been committed to optimizing and upgrading its industrial chains, causing other enterprises in the industrial chain to deepen cooperation and maximizing the efficiency of resource allocation.
To create a better business environment, Rudong has rolled out a slew of 30 incentives to support the innovative development of the manufacturing industry at the beginning of this year, focusing on encouraging enterprises to increase investment in innovation and development, providing support for enterprises looking to tackle key technologies, and commercializing sci-tech achievements.
It is also making efforts to streamline administrative approval procedures and make it easier for firms to invest in Rudong.
