Several air routes to resume operations in Nantong
Several air routes at Nantong Xingdong International Airport will resume operations this month as the COVID-19 situation has come under control, according to an announcement on the airport's official WeChat account.
The Nantong-Macao air route, which operates a round-trip flight every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, resumed operations on Sept 10.
A discount will be introduced at the same time, with the round-trip flight costing as low as 1,100 yuan ($170.61).
Other airlines, including Kunming Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Donghai Airlines, Ruili Airlines and Tibet Airlines, also launched ticket discounts, with the lowest price being 298 yuan.
The airport has also introduced a new flight schedule for summer and autumn, which will take effect from Sept 1 to Oct 30. The airport currently links the coastal city of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province with 44 other cities across the country.
Tourists must present their health and travel history QR codes, and have their temperature taken before entering the airport.
They are also required to wear masks and stay one meter apart from one another in the terminal building.
