One-month old white Bengal tiger triplets in the Nantong Forest Safari Park in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, met the public on July 29, which marked Global Tiger Day.

An executive from the zoo said that having the cubs interact with tourists is part of efforts to raise awareness of the importance of protecting these creatures.

Global Tiger Day was founded in 2010 when the 13 wild tiger range countries came together to create Tx2 – the global goal to double the number of wild tigers by 2022. This occasion is celebrated every year on July 29th to raise awareness of the importance of protecting this endangered big cat.
