An exhibition featuring more than 100 traditional Chinese paintings and calligraphy works is underway at Wenfeng City Square in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Among the exhibits are award-wining works of a couplet competition launched by the Nantong couplet academy in May.

Couplet enthusiasts from provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and the Hong Kong special administrative region in China, as well as those abroad actively took part in the competition with more than 1,600 works, 49 of which won awards.
