Wang Hui, Party secretary of Nantong

Wang Hui was elected secretary of the Nantong Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China at a leadership conference in the city on July 17.

Born in July 1968, Wang is an ethnic Han from Xuzhou, Jiangsu province. He joined the CPC in June 1993 and entered the workforce in April 1994. He holds a doctorate from Nanjing University.

He assumed the position of mayor of Nantong in January 2020.
