Located in Tangzha town – one of the sites of modern Chinese industry – the Second People's Hospital of Nantong sits by the Nantong-Yangzhou Canal in Chongchuan, the main urban district of Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province. Founded in 1914, it has developed into a large municipal comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, health care, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation and disease prevention.
