The eye-catching China Flower Expo kicked off on Chongming Island in East China's Shanghai city on May 21 and will run to July 2.

The expo is composed of north and south parks which are linked by an overpass. In addition to stairs, tourists can also access the overpass through two elevators – constructed by Shangxun Elevator Jiangsu Co Ltd – installed at the two ends of the bridge, a feature of special appeal to the elderly.

Settling in Qidong sci-tech pioneer park in 2016, Shangxun Elevator is a manufacturer engaged in research and development, production, sales, installation and maintenance of elevators.

There are many well-known brands in the elevator industry. As a private company that has not been established for a long time, Shangxun Elevator felt excited to obtain the opportunity to serve the China Flower Expo, even though it had to face many difficulties.

In accordance with normal procedures, it usually takes 90 days to complete the whole process of constructing and installing an elevator. However, Shangxun Elevator had only 60 days to finish the task before the flower expo opened. What's worse, the company specialized in indoor elevators and had little experience in outdoor versions.

Facing the situation of a tough task and a short timeframe, Shangxun selected its best staff and set up a special work team to provide high-quality services for the big event. With hard overtime work and by learning from other firms in the industry, Shangxun finally finished the task on schedule and with high quality.
