The Nantong Zongheng International Vocational and Technical School and INMAYSHOW Inc, an internet celebrity marketing company, signed an agreement on May 15 to establish Nantong's first teaching center for live streaming e-commerce in the Tongzhou Bay demonstration area.
The secondary school is located in Tongzhou Bay and is nearly 20 years old. The school has been pursuing programs that will help cultivate students' vocational skills, and has established partnerships with schools in Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.
The school is offering emerging subjects, such as animation and game design, digital media technology and application, operation and maintenance of unmanned drones, as well as live streaming and e-commerce services, which have been well-received among students and their parents.
IMS, as a commerce company focusing on new media, not only offers marketing services to more than 500 brands, 100,000 small and medium-sized companies, and over 1.5 million "We-media", but also focuses on training high-caliber workers for the industry.
"In partnership with the school, we will make use of our abundant industrial data, cases, and commerce resources to help students learn more about the industry and become innovative talent to drive the industry's future development," said Guo Lei, general manager of the company's educational department.
Wang Xiaochun, chairwoman of the vocational school, said that the school aims to cultivate a number of local live streaming celebrities, like Li Jiaqi, and help boost the development of e-commerce in Nantong.
