Roses bloom across Nantong
Roses are now in full bloom across Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province. Here are some of the best places to admire them.

Hundreds of thousands of Chinese roses are currently in bloom at the Nantong Botanical Garden, Chongchuan district.
The Chinese rose is among the country's top 10 flowers, with the others being the plum, peony, chrysanthemum, azalea, lotus, camellia, osmanthus, narcissus, and orchid. It is hailed as the "queen of flowers", symbolizing happiness, peace, and friendship.
The flower, originating in China, has been grown since the Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD) and became popular in the Tang (618-907) and Song (960-1279) dynasties.

Multiple colors of Chinese rose are now in full bloom in the Nantong Flower Town in Tongzhou district.
Famous for its floral scenery, the scenic area received nearly 50,000 tourists in the first two days of the May Day holiday and hosted 12 wedding ceremonies.
Kaidi Rose Garden

The Kaidi Rose Garden is located in Wanxin village, Chengbei sub-district, Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong. Roses are currently blooming over an area of nearly four hectares, attracting many visitors.
