In a bid to promote trans-regional business registration services for companies in the Yangtze River Delta or YRD region, the administrative approval bureau in the district of Chongchuan – in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – signed a landmark cooperation agreement on March 26.

It inked an accord with the Kecheng district of Quzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province, making Kecheng the third city district to sign a trans-regional business registration agreement with Chongchuan. That's after similar agreements were struck with the Baoshan district of Shanghai city and Liangxi district in Wuxi, in Jiangsu province.

It is understood that the two districts will join hands in business registration services. Applicants who want to start a business, no matter if they are in Chongchuan or Kecheng, can finish business registration procedures via one website that provides government service access across the YRD region.

Registered information and data are shared by the two districts through the website for handling relevant business affairs, allowing applicants to establish enterprises cross-provincially without physically going back and forth.

For offline processing, special windows have been established in both districts to handle all types of registration applications, allowing the formalities to be completed across regions.

After a preliminary check, the special window in either district immediately contacts its counterpart to exchange information on the case and sends the materials via express delivery. After receiving them, the respondent approval bureau promptly carries out the work and returns the validated documents back after examination and confirmation.

The signing of the agreement marks Chongchuan's official arrival in Zhejiang province in terms of business registration. Based on the two previous agreements signed with Wuxi's Liangxi district and Shanghai's Baoshan district, the layout of the trans-regional business registration services across Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai has progressed to the preliminary shape.

Moving forwards, the Chongchuan district administrative approval bureau will take the three district partners as the starting point and gradually expand the coverage of trans-regional business registration services to surrounding areas, so as to enable more enterprises to access integrated administrative services across the YRD region.
