Langshan Chunxiao is a type of green tea that grows on Junshan Mountain in Nantong. It is considered precious due to its high quality and limited quantity.
The tea originated from Biluochun tea in Suzhou, which was brought to Junshan Mountain in 1972, and eventually became a tea unique to Nantong.
Experts explained that the tea can only be planted on Junshan Mountain due to its high humidity and fertile soil, which is ideal for planting tea. However, the planting area is still limited and covers an area of less than two hectares.
The tea enjoys a unique color and fragrance and is considered the best tea in northern Jiangsu province.
The first batch of tea is expected to hit the market in late March. People can buy it at the ticket office of Junshan Mountian.
