Tibetan students helped out on March 15 to produce hand-copied newspapers commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province.

Students form the Nantong Tibet national middle school teamed up with others in the activity, organized by the general Party branch of the Wulishu community of Chenqiao sub-district, administered by Nantong's Chongchuan district.

Apart from commemorating the founding of the CPC, the activity also enabled the students to learn about the history of the Party.

During the activity, voluntary Party members of the community and the Tibetan students made elaborate preparations and produced hand-copied newspapers with distinctive themes and beautiful pictures. The words and pictures on the newspapers showed the students' deep love and blessings for China.

Through the activity the students reportedly gained a greater understanding of the profound changes experienced by China over the course of the decades.
