Nantong Automobile Transportation Group Co added several tailored bus routes linking Nantong with Shanghai on March 12. Eleven 19-seat vehicles were put in service.

The routes are meant to make business trips and doctor's visits in Shanghai more convenient.

Route 1: The Tourist Center at Nantong Haohe River Scenic Area — Shanghai Intercity Bus Station

Route 2: Tourist Distribution Center of Langshan Mountain — Shanghai Intercity Bus Station

Note: A one-way ticket is 65 yuan ($10) per person. People must arrive at the stop at least five minutes in advance.

In addition, the Nantong bus operator also offers chartered bus routes for business trips or tourism based on clients' needs, as well as two routes for medical trips.

Medical route 1: Nantong — Shanghai Ruijin Hospital (Huangpu district) — Huashan Hospital (Jing'an district) — Zhongshan Hospital — Eye and ENT Hospital (Xuhui district) — Shanghai Cancer Center

Medical route 2: Nantong — Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital (Yangpu district) — Changhai Hospital (Yangpu district) — Dongfang liver and gall hospital (Yangpu district) — Xinhua Hospital (Yangpu district) — Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University (Yangpu district)

The medical routes will depart from the Tourist Distribution Center of Langshan Mountain in Nantong at 5:15 am and are expected to return from Shanghai at 3 pm.

The buses can pick up or send passengers west of Futong Road, east of Changjiang Road, south of Nantong-Lyusi Canal, and north of Seyuan Road. A one-way ticket is 100 yuan per person.
