An annual fishing activity was held at the High School Affiliated to Nantong University in Nantong on Jan 30 in order to help third-grade students relieve stress.

The school has placed a number of carp fries into its river so that students can fish them every winter.

The fish will be cooked into a variety of dishes and served free to students and staff at the school.

In addition to the fishing activity, the school also holds a loquat festival every May and a pomegranate festival every September.
