Nantong saw a 51.04 percent year-on-year drop in passenger flow on Jan 28, the first day of the 2021 Spring Festival travel rush, as many people have decided to stay put for the holiday to reduce the risk of getting infected with COVID-19. Free spring couplets were offered at a bus station to add to the festive mood.
