As temperatures continue to drop, the Daguan Waterfall on Junshan Mountain in Nantong has been transformed into a spectacular ice sculpture. The 45-meter water drop on the cliff is a manmade waterfall built in 2002. The mountain had a waterfall dating back to the late Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) but it dried up due to the change of its water system. The new waterfall is hailed one of the most splendid manmade waterfalls north of the Yangtze River.
