College and primary school students create art with tree leaves on Nov 12. [Photo/ntfabu.com]

A group of volunteers consisting of Chinese and international students from the Nantong Vocational College of Science and Technology visited the Second Primary School Affiliated with Nantong Normal College on Nov 12.

Volunteers worked with primary school students to gather fallen leaves from around campus and make tree-leaf art in order to welcome International Students' Day, which falls on Nov 17.

During the activity, volunteers also taught children about why leaves fall during autumn and gave them a chance to admire the different colors, shapes, and textures of various leaves.
