In a bid to build a brand of international talent cultivation, Nantong University's School of Information Science and Technology initiated an all-English course for the 2020 international undergraduates in Computer Science and Technology major on Oct 6.

The class has 27 international students, from such countries as Morocco, Indonesia and Kenya. Impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, 19 of them are still abroad. The school plans to videotape the whole course and upload it online, making it convenient for students abroad to stay on track.

The School of Information Science and Technology attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation and continuously expands new ways of ensuring international cooperation between schools.

In order to better guarantee the quality of teaching, the school established a professional quality assurance system based on all-English teaching and focused on international student training programs, teaching plans, "modular" teaching, assessment systems for teacher, selection of teaching materials and daily teaching management to further improve the quantity and quality of international students, optimize the structure of their resources and promote Sino-foreign exchanges.
