The second Tangzha Fluorescent Brisk Walking Festival, jointly sponsored by the general labor union, the district committee of the Communist Youth League of Chongchuan and other participating departments, was held on Sept 26, adding a touch of color to the autumn night in Tangzha ancient town.

The brisk walking event is aimed at presenting diversified night business formats on culture and tourism to the citizens and tourists, and publicizing Tangzha's beautiful night views and economic charm.

Medical staff from the Second People's Hospital of Nantong who went to Hubei province to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of this year were invited to attend the event as a leading team. Nearly 1,000 people took part in the event.

The walking trip started at the Tangzha ancient town tourist center and passed by Zhang Jian Square, Dasheng Wharf and Tangzha Park, a distance of about five kilometers.

Tangzha ancient town has held many popular and characteristic activities in succession, including an industrial culture experiencing day, a beer and crayfish culture festival, a Xiyang Bridge night market and a charity blind date, coming closer to people's daily lives.
