In a bid to strengthen public employment services and provide talent guarantees for enterprises' transformation and upgrading, Chongchuan district human resources and social security bureau hosted a special job fair on Sept 26 for the key enterprises that were contacted by the chief service officers in the district.

Forty companies involved in modern manufacturing, electronic information, new energy, new materials and other high-tech industries attended the meeting and provided 1,064 employment posts.

To eliminate the final problem existing in the process of serving enterprises, Chongchuan district established the chief service officer (CSO) system in March, and selected capable staff members as CSOs to conduct one-on-one services with the district's key companies. Now, nearly 500 enterprises are equipped with exclusive "servers".

"We have to contact the matchmaking enterprises at least twice a month as required to learn their needs and help them solve problems," said Huang Yue, chief of the finance section of the district finance bureau and CSO of Nantong Chemical and Light Industry Co Ltd.

Before the job fair, the CSOs all contacted and visited the matchmaking companies, learned about their employment situation, analyzed their recruitment requirements and sorted out job categories.

Over 800 people participated in the fair, 416 people sent their resumes and 156 people achieved employment intention with the enterprises participating on site.

Nantong Huaxin Central Air Conditioning Co Ltd has great demand for mechanical, electrical and other professionals. Its recruiter said that the fair was effective in solving the company's problems and it hoped to participate more in such activities in the future.

In addition to offline recruitment, a cloud employment livestreaming platform was also set up to display the job fair site and companies' recruitment needs through the network. Both parties of supply and demand can communicate online in real time. According to statistics, the livestreaming attracted 89,000 views and 1,200 resumes.
