Four Qidong specialties selected as Jiangsu's 100 local characteristic dishes
An activity to promote 100 local characteristic dishes was recently launched in Jiangsu province.
Guided by the Jiangsu departments of agriculture and rural affairs, culture and tourism as well as commerce, the activity aims to further stimulate the potential of leisure tourism and promote its high-quality development together with that of agriculture in Jiangsu province by creating landmark brands for local cuisine and supporting inheritance of rural food culture.
After local declarations, online voting, expert review and comprehensive evaluation, 100 local dishes from all over the province were selected as Jiangsu's 100 local characteristic dishes.
The four chosen Qidong dishes are as follows:
