The 2020 Nantong Nightlife Festival kicked off in Nandajie Street, Chongchuan district, Nantong on July 25, providing a visual, auditory and tasty feast everyone. Over 80 booths with a wide range of businesses such as original accessories, delicacies and grocery stores attracted numerous visitors.

"The cupcakes we made last night are all sold out," said Zhang Han, a lady from Zhangzhou, a city in Fujian province. The self-created decorative cakes by Zhang caught the eyes of many customers as soon as her booth opened.

"The bazaar is a direct way to promote my goods. More people can learn in more detail about our niche culture and handicrafts," Zhang added.

Customers can not only taste dishes on site, but also participate in making creative goods, greatly increasing their interest in the commodities.

A series of nighttime activities have been launched in Chongchuan district since May. With support from Wenfeng Big World, Yaohan, Huangjie Sports and other key enterprises, over 20 bazaars have been held in the Nandajie Street business area.

Hepingqiao sub-district made night economic activity plans that suit the companies' characteristics through integrating commercial resources and coordinating cultural and social service resources. In addition, a night economic activity reporting system was adopted. On-site public order was ensured by combining the internal management of the enterprises and urban law enforcement.
