Waterfront along Yangtze River reopens to public

The administration of Nantong Langshan National Forest Park announced on July 22 that it would reopen its waterfront area along the Yangtze River that day.

The area was closed on July 13 when Nantong raised its flood emergency response to Level III. Over the past 10 days, authorities have closely monitored water levels, and there are currently no signs of danger.

The waterfront park, sports park, and swimming pool opened on July 22, and officers are patrolling the area more frequently to ensure it is safe.

What you need to know about visiting the waterfront swimming pool:

1. Hours: 14:00 – 21:00 from Monday to Friday

      13:00 – 21:00 from Saturday to Sunday

      (No admission after 20:30)

2. Annual tickets holders can enter through a facial recognition system. The ticket for a single entry costs 30 yuan ($4.35) per person. Children under 1.4 meters, adults aged above 65, and medical workers can enter for free.

3. Those under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a guardian. Only one child per guardian is allowed into the pool. Those aged above 65 should also be accompanied by family members.

4. Tourists must present their health QR codes and have their temperatures taken before entering.

5. Those with high blood pressure, heart diseases, acute conjunctivitis, tympanitis, epilepsy, or skin diseases, as well as alcoholics, are not allowed to enter.
