The 10th Jiangsu Book Fair will kick off on July 23 at the Suzhou International Expo Center and another 111 bookstores around the province, including 10 in Nantong. Two online fairs will also be held simultaneously.

The 10 sub-fairs in Nantong will be held at the Nantong Bookstore of Phoenix Xinhua, Nantong Phoenix Bookstore, Huiyuan Bookstore, Nantong Hongwen Bookstore, and Phoenix Xinhua's branches in Hai'an, Rugao, Rudong, Haimen, Qidong, and Tongzhou.

An opening ceremony will be held at the Nantong Phoenix Bookstore on July 23, while other sub-fairs will also hold a variety of activities, including reading salons, competitions, and seminars.

During the five-day fair, 100,000 yuan ($14,490) in coupons will be distributed online, and discounts will be offered at each sub-fair.

For example, the Nantong Phoenix Bookstore will offer a 20-percent discount on all books except textbooks. 

The Hai'an Bookstore of Phoenix Xinhua will arrange a lottery for the first 20 customers every day, offering discounts of up to 25 percent.

The online fairs will be held on the Jiangsu Book Fair app and the official website of Phoenix Xinhua. Nearly 200,000 books will be on display and more than 20,000 creative cultural products and stationery will be on sale.
