Gengsu Theater reopens after 6-month hiatus
Gengsu Theater in Nantong, Jiangsu province reopened on July 20 after six months of closure due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The theater announced on Monday that it would extend the expiry date of its vouchers to June 30, 2021.
It also said that it is working to resume cultural performances in the second half of this year.
Strict epidemic prevention measures have been taken at the theater, with the halls and corridors being disinfected at least twice a day, self-service ticket machines, chairs and toilets being disinfected at least five times a day, and handrails and 3D glasses being disinfected right after each show.
People are advised to purchase tickets online. Audience and staff members must wear face masks and have their temperature taken prior to entering the theater.
In addition, there must be at least one row and one seat between every customer. Masks must also be worn throughout the movie. Eating and drinking are also forbidden in the theater.
