Gangzha launches tourism promotions to stimulate consumption
A two-month tourism promotional activity was launched at the Nantong Forest Safari Park in Gangzha district, Nantong on July 8.
The activity, which was hosted by the local government, is aimed at facilitating the recovery of the district's tourism market and enhancing its reputation.
Starting on July 8, popular tourist attractions like the Nantong Forest Safari Park, Tangzha ancient town, Green Valley City and hotels such as Holiday Inn Nantong Oasis International will introduce an array of products at discounted prices.
The campaign will run until Oct 8 and is expected to attract 10,000 tourists to stay overnight.
A night tour of the Nantong Forest Safari Park was also opened to the public on the same day, featuring activities such as circus performances, animal science education and a food festival.
Since the beginning of this year, Gangzha has made continuous efforts to boost its night economy and meet the diverse demands of tourists.
The recently-opened Shanghai-Suzhou Nantong Yangtze River Bridge has presented the district with more development opportunities.
Officials said that Gangzha will accelerate its in-depth integration of culture and tourism industries to provide better products and services to tourists.
