Posters designed by Ding Jian, a teacher at the Jiangsu College of Engineering and Technology in Nantong, recently won awards at international graphic design contests in Germany and Turkey, local media reported.

During the recently concluded evaluation for the 5th International Poster Exhibition Leipzig 2020, Ding's work Collision was listed among the awarded works, all of which will be exhibited at the city's hall of Leipzig in September.

The event is hosted biennially by the government of Leipzig and the visual design society of Germany. 

This year's event was themed "Where from? Where to?", with artists from 31 countries and regions taking part. A total of 250 works entered the final, with 89 receiving awards.

Ding's other work Heat also won an award at the Bolu International Poster Design Competition, which was hosted by the Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University.

A total of 1,141 posters from 23 countries took part in the competition.
