Rudong county, Nantong generated nearly 40 billion yuan ($5.6 billion) from industries above a designated size (those with an annual revenue of 20 million yuan), from January to April, up 5.8 percent year on year and ranking second in the city.

The county's total taxable sales revenue was 62 billion yuan during the first four months of this year, an increase of 22 percent compared with the same period of last year and ranking second in Nantong.

Since the beginning of the second quarter of 2020, the county has been promoting closer coordination between the government and enterprises and working to create a better business environment to help attract orders and expand the market for enterprises.
