Nantong scenic areas to offer free admission
Seven scenic areas in Nantong will offer free admission to visitors on certain days to boost the development of the local tourism industry, according to an announcement by the city's commission of development and reform and the bureau of culture, broadcasting, television and tourism on April 20.
The scenic areas include the Seyuan Garden, Junshan Mountain, Green Valley City, Jianghuai Culture Park, Changjiang Medical Botanical Garden, Dinghui Temple and the Jindao Ecological Park.
Seyuan Garden is a national 4A-level scenic area and the largest botanical garden in Nantong. Zhang Jian (1853 - 1926), a famous modern industrialist and scholar, was buried here. It will offer free admission to all on May 19, July 1, Aug 25, and the opening day of the Nantong Jianghai International Culture and Tourism Festival. [Photo/WeChat account: rugaofabu]
