Langshan National Forest Park reopens

Langshan National Forest Park in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province reopened on March 1 after closing in late January due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Officials said the outdoor area on Langshan Mountain, Seyuan Garden and Junshan Mountain are open from 8:30 to 16:00, while all indoor areas and shops will remain closed. Services including tour guides, cable cars and sightseeing buses are currently unavailable.
Visitors must enter Langshan Mountain and Seyuan Garden through the northern gates. They are required to show their ID cards, have their temperature taken, wear masks and keep an appropriate distance from others.
People with abnormal temperatures are not allowed to enter. Group activities are also banned in the areas.
Officials noted that although epidemic control measures have produced positive results, people are still being advised to avoid crowds and gatherings. The scenic spots have been strictly controlling the number of tourists in accordance with relevant regulations.
On opening day, there were no more than 400 visitors on Langshan Mountain, 60 in Seyuan Garden, 80 on Junshan Mountain and no more than 700 visiting the city's botanical garden.
