A total of 19 workers from 10 enterprises based in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, returned to Nantong from Hanzhong, Northwest China's Shaanxi province, with the help of the district's bureau of human resources and social security.

The bureau is closely monitoring local enterprises that have resumed operations and is collecting information on workers who haven't been able to return to work due to travel restrictions related to the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia.

Nineteen workers from Hanzhong have now returned to work after having their health examined, and more workers will return to the district in the near future. The workers must quarantine themselves at home for a period of time before returning to work.

Chongchuan district and Hanzhong city have developed a close partnership after three years of cooperation. Their respective bureaus of human resources and social security maintain close contact and have made some impressive achievements in labor services and training.

A recruitment fair is held by the two sides every year in the counties of Foping and Liuba in Hanzhong, with around 60 enterprises from Chongchuan district attending over the past three years.

Classes are also held every year on cooking, e-commerce, and more. The classes have helped 120 people increase their employability and entrepreneurial abilities.

Luo Peiquan, a worker at a plastic company in the district, was one of the 19 workers to be retrieved from Hanzhong. He said he found his current job in 2018 and now earns a decent income.
