Qidong LNG station ensures smooth unloading during virus outbreak

Qidong liquefied natural gas (LNG) station of the Guanghui Energy Co recently unloaded about 63,000 metric tons of LNG from WILFORCE, a cargo ship coming from Australia, during the fight against the novel coronavirus. 

The company kept in close contact with marine-related departments and held several video conferences to make detailed plans for unloading.  

Strict measures were taken to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. Workers' health conditions were checked and they were asked to put on face masks, goggles and gloves while working. Working areas were also thoroughly disinfected. 

Guanghui Energy Co is the only private company integrating coal, oil and gas resources in China, and it is involved in the exploration, transportation and sales chains.  

The company intends to guarantee a stable supply of LNG supply the novel coronavirus outbreak. 

The LNG station in Qidong has discharged around 120,000 tons of LNG so far this year.
