Nantong suspends railway, bus services to curb spread of new coronavirus
To contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province has suspended some high-speed railway services between the city and the provincial capital of Nanjing since Jan 30. The following is a list of trains being suspended:
According to local authorities, those who are holding paper tickets can receive full refunds following these two conditions:
1. Those who bought tickets for travel between Jan 28 and Feb 26 before 12pm on Jan 27 should have their tickets returned before 12pm on March 25.
2. Those whose departure stations have been closed by local governments should have their tickets returned within 30 days following the station's reopening.
Officials have also noted that passengers are required to wear protective masks when traveling and be cooperative during temperature detection at all railway stations in Nantong.
The city also suspended all inter-provincial and inter-city passenger bus services on Jan 28. The time when the transport service will be resumed is currently uncertain.
