Artworks by young artists on display in Nantong

An exhibition of artworks by young artists in Jiangsu province opened in Nantong on Jan 8. It will run until Jan 12.

On display are 499 works, including traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, prints, watercolors, gouaches, lacquer paintings, and sculptures.

The works revolve around various themes, including revolutionary history, real life, urban landscapes, and emotions, from a variety of distinct perspectives.

The biennial event is organized by the Jiangsu Artists Association, Nantong bureau of culture, broadcasting, television, and tourism, and the Nantong Federation of Literary and Art Circles. It is meant to serve as a platform for young artists to showcase their skills and interact with those with similar interests.
