A detailed construction plan for Konka Group's headquarters in East China was unveiled Dec 17 by the natural resource bureau of Haimen, a county-level city in Nantong, Jiangsu province.

The country's leading TV manufacturer has linked up with Jiangsu Nantong No 3 Construction Engineering Group to build the first complex project in a new district in the northern part of the city.

The headquarters will consist of a sales center, a product research and development center, a trade and sci-tech service center, a users' operating center and an e-commerce center.

In addition, Konka also plans to build its first modern and smart community in the area. The residential buildings will be designed in modern style, with a low population density. 

The company will integrate cutting-edge technology, including the internet of things, a wireless sensor network and the internet into all aspects of community life, with the aim of bringing convenience to residents and helping to promote social harmony and stability.

According to the city's plans for urban construction, the northern part is expected to be built into a model green and smart city, with high-end commerce, intelligent industries and a favorable living environment.

As a conglomerate involved in consumer electronics, sci-tech parks, and internet and trade services, Konka is willing to give full play to its strength and help Haimen achieve leapfrog development.
