A total of 40 international students at the Nantong College of Science and Technology visited Linggong School, China's first modern performing arts school, in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Dec 12.

The students all come from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, including Laos, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Indonesia, and have been studying in Nantong for more than one year.

During the tour, they attended lectures on traditional Chinese culture and China's current situation, learned to perform Peking Opera, and enjoyed local delicacies.

"I enjoy staying in China, experiencing the rich culture, and being overwhelmed by Chinese people's hospitality," said Hasibul Hasan Shato from Bangladesh.

Many of Hasibul's peers echoed his sentiment, saying they feel right at home in China thanks to their teachers, who treat them like family.
