Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, is focusing on project construction to further local industrial upgrading and urban transformation.

"We just wanted to set up a branch in Chongchuan district at first, but finally we moved our headquarters from Shanghai to this district due to its promising development and considerate services," said Wang Xiaojun, the deputy general manager of Sungoin Technology Co.

The company is a provider of communication management platforms and has about 200,000 users. It has provided services for several well-known enterprises, including Wanda, Evergrande and Jiannanchun. The company has over 300 employees in Chongchuan.

During the first 10 months of this year, 88 new projects with total investment exceeding 8 billion yuan ($1.14 billion), were signed in the district, and 63 have been built.

The Yangtze River Delta Cyber Security Industrial Park has been opened in Chongchuan. Industrial zones and research institutions related to other emerging industries, such as electronic information, internet of vehicles, and artificial intelligence, are under construction.

To ensure smooth approval and construction processes, the district is improving the working mechanism, makes contacts with financial institutions for enterprises, and organizes recruitment fairs regularly.

The district has opened a green channel to deal with licenses for major projects. It took only a week for a heath industrial park, valued at over 1 billion yuan, to get the construction permit after it met the construction conditions.

Chongchuan also organizes training classes to cultivate e-commerce talents after JD Cloud, the cloud unit of China's second-largest e-commerce site JD.com, started operating in the district.
