The fourth 24-hour public library opened in Qidong, Nantong, Jiangsu province on Nov 24. The first such library was established in the city in 2017.

The library is open to the public for free at all hours, and people can enter the library using their library cards.

It has around 4,000 children's and adults' books. Readers can also download e-books by scanning QR codes or read hundreds of newspapers and magazines online.

City residents can obtain library cards at the self-service machine after submitting the required information and deposits.

Desks and sofas are available in the reading rooms, creating a comfortable environment for reading.
