Suning regional operating center to be built in Chongchuan

Suning Holdings Group will establish a central operating center in Chongchuan district, Nantong after an agreement was signed between the Chongchuan government and Suning on Nov 16.
The operating center will carry out operations, processing, retail, distribution, and maintenance. It is expected to receive a total of 1 to 1.2 billion yuan ($171.13 million) in investment and generate about 8 to 10 billion yuan in annual sales.
Zhang Jindong, chairman of Suning, said that Nantong is an important city in the Yangtze River Delta Region and Suning plans to strengthen industrial cooperation with the city in a number of fields, as the company has taken the lead in China with its transformation into a smart retailer.
Chongchuan district has developed long-term cooperative relations with Suning and gained the company's support in the local development of the trade, retail, and logistics industries.
The signing of this agreement is expected to help further cooperation in more fields and improve the industrial structure.
Qian Suomei, head of Chongchuan district, said that the district has become an attractive place for high-level talents and graduates due to its favorable business environment, preferential policies, and modern facilities.
