The Nantong Xingdong International Airport announced that it will reintroduce flights to Nagoya, Japan on Dec 1.

According to airport staff, the flight (ZH8053/54) will be operated by Shenzhen Airlines every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The flight will depart at 12:00 from Nantong and arrive in Nagoya at 15:30. The return flight will leave Nagoya at 16:30 and reach Nantong at 18:30.

To meet the large travel demand, the airlines have also added additional flights between Nantong and Osaka, which currently run every day.

Japan is Nantong's second largest source of foreign investment, and more than 1,300 Japanese companies operate in the coastal city in Jiangsu province.

Officials said the increased flights will promote more economic and cultural exchange between Nantong and Japan.
