Nantong-based China Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Co (CAMECO) signed a cooperation agreement with Honeywell Aerospace Trading (HAT) on Nov 6 at the second China International Import Expo held in Shanghai.

According to the agreement, CAMECO will offer aircraft disassembly services and supply aircraft parts to HAT.

"CAMECO is an ideal partner for HAT. The relationship will help us further expand in the Chinese market," said Steven Lien, president of Honeywell Aerospace in the Asia Pacific.

HAT, with its global business network, is also expected to bring about more overseas opportunities for CAMECO, according to Shen Binglong, chief executive officer of the Nantong company.

Xu Huimin, mayor of Nantong, also attended the signing ceremony and paid a visit to Honeywell's booth at the CIIE.

Xu said that Nantong has been working to build an industrial park for aerospace parts to promote the high-quality development of its aerospace industry.

He also encouraged companies involved in the aerospace industrial chain to set up operations in Nantong.
