The Macao International Culture and Fine Art Exhibition opened on Oct 15 at the Venetian Exhibition Center in the Macao Special Administrative Region.

More than 200 artworks in six categories, including embroidery works, banyao whistling kites, blue calico works, and redwood-carvings from Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, are currently on display, showcasing the city’s profound culture and long history to visitors from China and abroad.

The Macao International Culture and Fine Art Exhibition has been held every year since 2016, with exhibitors and buyers from around the world taking part.

It has played an important role in promoting international cultural exchanges, as well as trade and investment.

This year’s event is the largest service and trade exhibition Jiangsu has ever participated in outside the province. It is also the first time that Nantong has been given an exclusive hall to itself.

The exhibition will run until Oct 18 and will include industrial forums, conferences, and lectures.
