A Japanese delegation of  business representatives visited Nantong University in Chongchuan district, Nantong in eastern Jiangsu province, on Sept 22.

Jiang Naihua, vice-president of the university, expressed a warm welcome to the delegation and briefed the visitors on the history and development of the school.

He stated that there was ample potential for cooperation between the Japanese society for automobile composite materials and NTU's School of Textile and Clothing.

He hoped two sides would facilitate communications and establish partnerships.

During the visit, a seminar between the delegation and teachers from the textile and clothing school was held, where they discussed the applications of high-performance composite materials and shared their latest research findings.
