A workshop for making wuren moon cakes was held in Wenfeng community in Chongchuan district, Nantong, in eastern Jiangsu province on Sept 10, with 40 local seniors taking part.

Wuren refers to the stuffing of the moon cakes which consists of five nuts -- peach seeds, melon seeds, pine nuts, almonds and peanuts.

The authentic wuren stuffing also includes sugar and sesame powder, which will be fried with the five nuts.
