A new hospital co-founded by Qidong People’s Hospital and Nantong University was launched in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, on Aug 30.

Pu Yuzhong, Party secretary of Nantong University, and Wang Xiaobin, Party secretary of Qidong, unveiled the new hospital’s name plaque at the ceremony, which was also attended by Shi Weidong, president of Nantong University, Ge Zhijuan, mayor of Qidong, and Tang Haibing, deputy mayor of Qidong. 

The two parties will cooperate in teaching, training, and clinical research at the new hospital, according to the agreement they signed.
