Chongchuan kids visit Nantong Meteorology Museum

A group of children from Chongchuan district came away a deeper knowledge of the science behind weather observations and forecasts after they visited the Nantong Meteorology Museum on Aug 30.
The activity was part of a summer camp organized by the Party committee of Xinghuo community, with the aim of enriching local childrens' lives during their summer break.
"I gained a lot of meteorological knowledge during the trip," said Lin Zhibo, a child from the Xinghuo community. "It was great fun."
Nantong Meteorology Museum has been committed to giving more people an insight into meteorology since it officially opened in 2015. It often cooperates with schools and communities to hold various activities.
The museum is open free to the public on certain days. The latest is from 1am to 5pm on Sept 11-25.
