Global life sciences giant Bayer Healthcare launched its new China Development Center for Health Consumer Products in Qidong, the county-level city in Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province, on Aug 28.

The facility is one of Bayer’s four biggest development centers for health consumer products and will provide better self-care solutions for Chinese consumers, according to company representatives.

Tang Xiong, deputy Party secretary of Qidong, said that the launch of the center showcased the appeal of Qidong to high-end industries, capital and skilled workers.
