Jiangsu Nantong No 2 Construction Engineering (Group) Co Ltd made it onto the list of China’s top 500 private enterprises, when the rankings were released at the 2019 Summit for China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises on Aug 22, according to the organizers.

The engineering firm, based in Qidong, a county-level city in Nantong, took 105th position on the list. 

Huawei Investment and Holding topped the list with an annual revenue of 721.2 billion yuan ($100.6 billion).

HNA Group and Suning Holdings Group ranked second and third, with their annual revenues coming in at 618.3 billion yuan and 602.5 billion yuan respectively. 

The requirement for firms who want to compete for a place on the list is their annual revenue must hit at least 18.6 billion yuan. 

Jiangsu Nantong No 2 Construction Engineering (Group) Co Ltd is one of the leaders in China’s engineering and construction market.

The registered capital of the company is 1.018 billion yuan, its total assets are valued at 49.5 billion yuan and the net assets are worth 12.8 billion yuan.
