A new man-made beach, at Haohe River scenic area in Chongchuan district, opens free to the public on Aug 15. Crowds of parents and kids visited the beach to cool themselves down in the hot weather. The local government has carried out a series of measures to improve the landscape since the start of the year, aiming to provide a great environment for the upcoming 2019 China Forest Tour Festival, which will be held in Nantong in October.
