Nantong launches air route to Seoul

A direct air route connecting Nantong in East China’s Jiangsu province and Seoul, capital of South Korea, was officially launched on Aug 13.

The flights are run by Jeju Air every week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The flight number is 7C8306/05 and the aircraft type is a Boeing 737.

The flight takes off at 10:10 in Seooul and arrives in Nantong at 11:25. And the return flight leaves Nantong at 12:40 and reaches Seoul at 15:45.

The one-way ticket on the launch day was 1,178 yuan ($167.63).

Nantong airport currently operates five international air routes to Osaka, Bangkok, Nha Trang, Jeju Island and Seoul.

A new terminal for the airport will be put into use on Aug 18 and the throughput is expected to reach 3.5 million passengers this year.
